We provide the best quality music education to young children by blending the pleasure and the joy of music making with sound instruction.

Parent participation is mandatory for ALL MYC® classes. You are the partners to your child, being in class to help and encourage him/her. Always be patient and supportive. Please also be very active and participate in singing and all actions. This will help your child listen and follow my instructions much better. Participate even if your child chooses not to. However, feel free to take your child to the side to calm down if needed. We do a lot of repetition and review in each class so your child will get any missed concepts the following week.

Parents are strongly encouraged to practice with their child. For a young pianist, sitting at the piano/keyboard with them to encourage and assist. 

~Sunshine/Sunbeams/Moonbeams Classes~

A piano or touch-sensitive keyboard is required for students to practice on. The keyboard must have at least five octaves (61 keys). The keys must be the width of regular piano keys so that the transition to a regular piano goes smoothly.
